Story 35 of 38
What do you consider your greatest achievements in life?
My children.
Beaconsfield School Library — I ran the library for many years. I was able to introduce reading to students who struggled. It was a place of welcome.
Altar Guild — The role of Directress was very prestigious. I was voted in several times until I stepped down. I was a little smug that I was voted in over Maxine.
Havelock Street gardens — The gardens at Havelock Street were my pride and joy. I started with gravel and sod and turned it into a neighbourhood showpiece. People would stop and comment on how beautiful it was.
