What's a small decision you made that ended up having a big impact on your life?

When I decided to leave school in grade 9.

Choosing to do that changed everything from then on. I went from being a “school girl” to a “working girl”. I had a job.

I had to grow up fast because I was now in charge of my own wages and benefits. That wasn’t easy at my age… or during that time. It was the 1940s.
